A Global Standard for Digital Finance is Being Set by BTQ’s Quantum-Secure Stablecoin Network.

Leading efforts to future-proof the global financial system against the looming threat of quantum computing, BTQ Technologies Corp. (BTQ) is quickly becoming a leader in the field of digital finance. With the U.S. Post-Quantum Financial Infrastructure Framework (PQFIF) highlighting the company’s Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network (QSSN) and the Quantum Industrial Standard Association (QuINSA) unanimously approving it as a global standard initiative, QSSN has achieved considerable international recognition. These endorsements highlight how important QSSN is to reviving global security protocols for tokenised assets and digital currency.

Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network (QSSN)

Stablecoins and other digital currencies are shielded from the security risks posed by future, potent quantum computers by the Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network (QSSN). The goal of post-quantum cryptography is to build cryptographic systems that are impervious to both classical and quantum attacks, and this is a significant advancement in that field.

An explanation of the QSSN‘s functions is provided below:

The Problem: The Quantum Threat to Cryptography

Public-key cryptography is a major component of many of the digital security systems in use today, including those of stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies. At the moment, this kind of cryptography is safe since it is computationally impossible for traditional computers to crack. These cryptographic algorithms (such as RSA and ECC) may be quickly cracked by a large-scale quantum computer, though, if one were to be constructed, utilizing techniques like Shor’s algorithm. By exposing private keys, an attacker might disrupt the network as a whole and manufacture, burn, or steal tokens.

The Solution: The Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network (QSSN)

The framework known as the QSSN was created by BTQ to counter this “quantum threat.” It is intended to interface with current stablecoin platforms rather than building a completely new blockchain from the ground up. The fundamental concept is incorporating a “quantum-secure control layer” into the most delicate stablecoin network operations.

How it works

Dual-Signature Security: The QSSN framework employs a “dual-signature” technique for security. This implies that privileged operations, such burning, upgrading, or minting tokens, are cryptographically signed using a new post-quantum signature in addition to the existing standard keys, such as ECDSA. This offers an easy way to achieve quantum resilience without having to completely redesign the system.

Pay attention to Privileged Functions: The QSSN has no effect on the functionality of wallets, end users, or current integrations. Only the essential features utilised by the stablecoin issuer or a designated operator are improved. This focused strategy protects the weakest areas of the system while causing the least amount of disturbance.

Standards and Compatibility: Existing wallets, payment systems, and compliance procedures are all compatible with the QSSN. The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is developing post-quantum cryptography standards that are in line with these new international standards.

To put it simply, the QSSN is a means of “future-proofing” digital assets such as stablecoins. It enables stablecoin issuers and financial institutions to get ready for the era of quantum computing by putting in place a workable and scalable solution that safeguards their networks without interfering with user experience or ongoing business operations.

Addressing the Quantum Threat to Digital Money

Traditional encryption techniques are seriously threatened by the development of quantum computing, which could make the current digital financial infrastructures weak. Understanding this crucial issue, BTQ’s QSSN is made to give tokenised assets and digital currencies a quantum-secure layer that protects them from future quantum attacks. This project is regarded as an essential step in preserving the confidence and security that are essential to the contemporary financial system.

By using post-quantum signatures to upgrade privileged issuer controls, QSSN does this. This novel method uses both today’s standard keys and a strong post-quantum signature to co-sign crucial operations including minting, burning, stopping, upgrading, and first contract deployment. Importantly, QSSN is designed for seamless integration, offering a standards-based way to satisfy quantum-resilience requirements without interfering with current user workflows, wallets, or integrations.

U.S. Regulatory Validation: The PQFIF Endorsement

BTQ’s QSSN has been referenced as a paradigm for quantum-secure tokenised deposits in the U.S. Post-Quantum Financial Infrastructure Framework (PQFIF), a crucial document detailing the shift to quantum-resistant approaches. PQFIF, a strategy plan released by government agencies in September 2025, outlines how U.S. financial institutions might transition from current encryption methods to ones that are resilient to quantum developments. PQFIF’s acknowledgement marks a dramatic change, showing that quantum-secure controls are progressing from theory to actual deployment in the US financial system. The framework places a strong emphasis on upholding market integrity, safeguarding investor interests, and conforming to new NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards.

Global Standard Momentum: QuINSA’s Unanimous Approval

The Quantum Industrial Standard Association (QuINSA) unanimously approved BTQ’s QSSN, thereby recognising it as a worldwide standard initiative and enhancing its position in the world. The first private consortium in the world devoted to creating industry-driven, de facto standards for quantum computing, communication, and sensing is QuINSA, which was established in 2024. With this unanimous support from QuINSA’s Communications Coordination Group, QSSN is well on its way to submitting to important international organisations like IEEE, ITU, ISO, and ETSI, which will promote interoperability and compliance worldwide.

As the Chair of QuINSA’s Quantum Communications Working Group, BTQ’s impact in this crucial field is further enhanced. Being at the vanguard of a sector that has the potential to revolutionise cybersecurity globally, BTQ is able to directly influence the international standards governing blockchain infrastructure and quantum-secure communications.

Accelerating Commercial Deployment and Market Capture

These important endorsements put BTQ in a strong position to quickly commercialise QSSN. The company plans to start test operations with top stablecoin issuers in Q4 2025. The goal of these pilots is to revolutionize the management of tokenised financial goods by adding a critical layer of quantum-secure features to current operations.

QSSN has a significant market potential. By 2024, there will be over $5.7 trillion in on-chain transactions, and the stablecoin market has grown to about $280 billion in circulation. As institutional adoption picks up speed, BTQ anticipates that QSSN will handle billions in daily settlement value. At the DeFi Technologies Insights Frankfurt Symposium on September 25, 2025, BTQ will present QSSN’s capabilities by showcasing quantum-secure stablecoin issuances for DeFi protocols and financial institutions.

Strategic Alignment with Global Quantum Initiatives

The QSSN from BTQ strategically supports a larger global movement for quantum resilience. It was developed in accordance with the NSA’s CNSA 2.0 advice, the EU’s quantum network projects, Korea’s Quantum Technology Industry Act, and NIST PQC standards (including FIPS 203, 204, and 205). This multifaceted convergence strengthens BTQ’s role in establishing a united, quantum-secure future by guaranteeing cross-border interoperability for digital assets and payments.

BTQ is in a unique position to benefit from this turning point as quantum technologies go from research to commercial use. The CEO of BTQ Technologies, Olivier Roussy Newton, stressed that “Quantum security is no longer a distant concept it’s a strategic priority for nations, industries, and investors.” To emphasised that the “watershed moment” that PQFIF’s certification of QSSN represents confirms BTQ’s approach and speeds up its commercial pipeline.
