This important deal will give TII’s Quantum Research Center access to Quantinuum’s top-tier quantum computing devices, which are known for having the highest operational fidelity in the industry. Importantly, this includes exclusive access to Helios, Quantinuum’s next-generation technology, which is expected to show notable improvements in qubit connectivity and gate integrity. These enhancements are essential for pushing the limits of what is currently possible and improving the capabilities and dependability of quantum calculations. The goal of this collaboration is to promote the creation of cutting-edge quantum algorithms by smoothly fusing TII’s research activities with cutting-edge quantum computing systems.

The partnership with Quantinuum enhances TII’s existing strong and varied network of partner platforms. IonQ‘s trapped-ion processors and TII’s own in-house built superconducting quantum chips are currently examples of the company’s quantum capabilities. Additionally, devices from other top suppliers of quantum technology, like QuEra, Rigetti, and IQM, are accessible to TII researchers across several platforms through AWS Braket. Because of its extensive access to a wide range of quantum hardware technologies, TII is positioned at the forefront of quantum research and innovation, facilitating thorough investigation and comparison of diverse quantum architectures.

TII and Quantinuum’s collaborative endeavor will focus on developing quantum computing applications in fields of major regional and global significance. The cooperation outlines the following important research areas:
