Viewbix Completes Milestone 1 in AI-Driven QEC Program

Viewbix Completes Milestone 1 in AI-Driven QEC Program

A crucial technical milestone that could alter the race for practical quantum computing has been disclosed by Viewbix Inc. a company listed on the Nasdaq that has undergone a considerable transition. The company has successfully finished Milestone 1 of its Transformer-Based Quantum Decoder program. The company is currently undertaking a strategy shift from digital advertising and grammar software to high-stakes quantum technology.

Quantum Transportation Ltd, part of Quantum X Labs, led this breakthrough to solve the noise problem that has precluded quantum computer commercialization.

The Quantum Challenge: Solving the Noise Problem

The qubits is the primary barrier to functional quantum computing. Superposition distinguishes qubits from conventional bits. But these qubits are notoriously brittle and prone to decoherence, which is the loss of quantum state owing to heat or electromagnetic radiation.

The industry has known for decades that a strong Quantum Error Correction (QEC) system is necessary to move quantum computers from the lab into commercial applications including drug development, material science, finance, and international logistics. Without efficient QEC, ambient noise-induced mistakes eventually overwhelm the computations, making the machine’s output unusable. QEC is regarded by industry experts as one of the last obstacles to large-scale, useful quantum computing.

The Innovation: AI Transformers as Decoders

The mechanism used by Viewbix differs from conventional, hardware-intensive error correcting techniques. In order to act as a “decoder” for quantum mistakes, the company is instead utilizing Transformer Architecture, the same fundamental AI technology that drives Large Language Models (LLMs) as ChatGPT.

The program has successfully fulfilled a number of important technical and legal requirements by reaching Milestone 1.

  • Validated Patent Feasibility: To make sure the intellectual property (IP) is both commercially feasible and defendable, a comprehensive evaluation was carried out.
  • Developed Specialized Transformer Models: These artificial intelligence models are designed for the fast, real-time processing needed to detect and correct mistakes in quantum environments.
  • Secured Intellectual Property Rights: Reaching this milestone met the conditions for a major license from Tel Aviv University’s tech transfer division, Ramot. The rights to a pending patent for a QEC decoder driven by machine learning are granted by this license. Completion is considered a “meaningful de-risking step” because missing this deadline could have compromised these important intellectual property rights.

According to industry analysts, this AI-driven strategy could revolutionize the industry by reducing latency. Conventional decoders frequently have trouble finding and correcting faults quickly enough; if the decoder is too slow, errors build up more quickly than they can be fixed. Viewbix seeks to provide a system that is more accurate, quicker, and flexible across different kinds of quantum hardware, possibly expanding with hardware.

A Strategic Evolution: From Grammar to Quantum Physics

The discovery occurs at a critical juncture for Viewbix. Gix Media, which specializes in traffic routing and digital advertising automation, and Metagramm Software, which is well-known for its AI-powered grammatical error correcting products, have historically been the company’s two primary subsidiaries. Metagramm’s program checks spelling, punctuation, and style using machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The company’s main skill in machine learning is said to have evolved logically, albeit ambitiously, from fixing grammatical flaws in text to fixing quantum errors in qubits. A final deal to purchase at least 85% (and maybe 100%) of Quantum X Labs was reached by Viewbix on December 15, 2025.

Prior intellectual property in quantum error correction as well as a developing patent portfolio are included in this acquisition. The corporation announced on January 5, 2026, that the transaction had been approved by the majority of stockholders. When final regulatory clearances and customary conditions are met, the deal should close within 90 days of the initial December agreement.

Milestone 2 and the Future of “Quantum-as-a-Service”

Quantum Transportation will immediately begin System Proof of Concept after Milestone 1. The following stage will entail:

  1. Extensive simulations to evaluate the decoder’s performance in comparison to actual noise models.
  2. Examining practical implementation routes.
  3. Starting preliminary conversations with hardware collaborators and design partners.

If successful, Viewbix’s decoder might develop into a universal “software layer” that can be installed on top of different quantum hardware structures, such as photonic circuits, trapped ions, or superconducting loops. This adaptability, which enables the technology to generalize across many quantum codes and noise, is a major benefit.

Investor Outlook and Market Impact

Viewbix’s aggressive foray into the quantum domain has been met with “cautious optimism” by the market. The business is establishing itself as a major player in the nascent “Quantum-as-a-Service” (QaaS) sector by obtaining intellectual property from prestigious universities such as Tel Aviv University and satisfying technical deadlines.

Viewbix submitted a definitive information statement (Schedule 14C) to the SEC on January 15, 2026. The acts authorized by stockholders will take effect 20 days after this announcement is mailed to investors, per Delaware law.

The business recently congratulated Prof. Lior Wolf on Mobileye’s acquisition of his business, Mentee Robotics, and acknowledged the success of its wider network. In order to strengthen their technical base, Quantum X Labs had earlier purchased Prof. Wolf’s intellectual property in quantum computing error correction.

Although there is a lot of promise, the company has added the usual warnings in forward-looking statements, stating that the success of Milestone 2 and the timing of the acquisition are dependent on a number of risks, uncertainties, and regulatory approvals. Nonetheless, the accomplishment of Milestone 1 is seen as a crucial step in turning the “impossible” quantum computing computations into a profitable reality.

Viewbix is trying to overcome one of the biggest obstacles in contemporary science by fusing cutting-edge AI with quantum physics. This could enable quantum computers to address issues that are currently unsolvable for even the most potent conventional machines.
